Description:
This reel highlights some of my favorite contributions to Craig McCracken’s The Powerpuff Girls on Cartoon Network. My main responsibility was creating visual effects and 2D/3D hybrid animated backgrounds that expanded the show’s iconic world. Craig’s only direction to me was: “Don’t make it look ugly.”

A standout project was the Documentary Episode, where I built a “digital Townsville.” Starting from 15 different building designs and three block patterns, I developed modular, reusable assets and fashioned five distinct city block sets that could be combined in a LEGO-like construction system. I also contributed to more than 120 shots in the rock-opera episode See Me, Feel Me, Gnomey, which became a fan-favorite for its bold stylistic departure.

Responsibilities: 3D Animation, Compositing

Software: Autodesk Combustion, Autodesk Maya
