Pondering the song’s lyrics, I envisioned a romance between two fireflies that paralleled the couple in the song. In the lyric video, the fireflies became the “yellow light,” a visual manifestation of love and connection. I led the conceptualization, direction, and creative execution of the piece, blending 2D animation and compositing to capture the song’s spirit.
